A motorist, a 51-year-old resident of Ourense, died yesterday afternoon after colliding with his vehicle against a van at the height of the municipality of Vilar do Barrio, in the province of Ourense.
The accident happened at 7:00 p.m. on the OU-1103, at kilometer 3.7, on the road that connects Los Milagros and Vilar de Barrio, near the place of As Maus. Specifically, it was a head-on collision between a van and a motorcycle.
The occupants of the van were unharmed while, despite the presence of a medicalized helicopter, the health services were only able to confirm the death of the motorcycle driver.
On the other hand, a girl was injured when she was run over in A Estrada de Seixalbo, in Ourense. 112 Galicia received the alert through 061 and, immediately, the notice was passed to the Local Police, the Ourense Firefighters and the Grouping of Volunteers of Civil Protection of the city.
