A motorcyclist crashed into a car and flew away, fighting for his life

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after an accident at the entrance to Plovdiv from the Asenovgrad side. The signal was received shortly after 5:30 pm today, police from the city under the hills told “Maritsa”.

According to preliminary data, a motorcycle, which was moving at an inappropriate speed, caught up with the Volkswagen and hit it from behind. Following the impact, the 23-year-old motorcycle driver flew over the central barrier and fell into the oncoming lane, and his vehicle was burned.

The young man was transported to the hospital with several serious injuries. The scene of the accident was preserved by the squads of the “Traffic Police” sector and of the Quinta RU. An inspection is underway.

Until its completion, traffic in the accident area is difficult, regulated by police officers.
