A modern classic to enjoy art

Pavilion 5 of the exhibition center IFEMA MADRID will host the 32nd edition (October 17 to 20) of Estampa, a true classic, with the participation of nearly 100 contemporary art galleries and nearly a thousand national and international artists. The great autumn event of the art market in Spain, a reference for gallerism and collecting in our country, has on this occasion the intervention of Alberto García-Alix as a guest artist.

Estampa adapts to the evolution of the new demands and conditions of the national market, represented by the main Spanish galleries, incorporating up to twenty new projects created in recent years, as an example of trends and creation, of the arrival of new collectors.

The General Program has, therefore, the main galleries in the country (plus international additions), among which references stand out such as, among others, Helga de Alvear, Fernando Pradilla, Max Estrella, Rafael Pérez Hernando or Moisés Pérez de Albéniz ( Madrid); Cayón (Madrid/Menorca/Manila); Mayoral and PalmaDotze (Barcelona), Leyendecker (Tenerife), ArtNueve and T20 (Murcia), Siboney (Santander); Juan Silió (Madrid/ Santander) and Isabel Hurley (Málaga). A roster reinforced with ‘latest generation’ galleries such as Yusto/Giner (Madrid/Marbella), VETA, Enhorabuena Espacio and WeCollect (Madrid), Berlin Gallery (Seville), Artizar (Tenerife), Lariot Collective (London), Untitled Art Contemporani (Andorra), and Victor Lope and 3 Punts (Barcelona).

A real opportunity to enjoy the work of one of the best portraitists on the Spanish and international artistic scene, characterized by a combination of rawness and elegance, based on his life experiences (his photographs marked a generation, that of the Movida Madrileña of the 80s ).
