In Kremenchug, Poltava region, an 8-year-old boy, Anatoly Zhehabikov, was found dead, who had disappeared the day before.
As reported in police of the Poltava region, the body of the child was found today, on July 11, at about 3 pm on the territory of the former “artillery warehouses” of Kremenchug.
“The boy’s disappearance was reported to the police by his mother on July 10, at about 21:00. Immediately, Kremenchug policemen, rescuers, divers of the state emergency service and the Kremenchuk aqua-service communal enterprise, national guardsmen and representatives of the public joined in the search for the missing child,” – told the police.

The body of the child was found by divers during a survey of the lake. The cause of death will be established by a forensic medical examination.
According to the press secretary of the Kremenchug police Anna Vasenko, according to the mother, she, together with her son and a company of people, rested there on the shore. Public… After a while, they noticed that the child was missing, and then went to the police.
At night, the State Emergency Service, a unit of the National Guard, dog handlers, volunteers and residents of the city joined the search for the boy.
It is noted that there are no traces of violent death on the child’s body.
