A rock burst occurred at the Cheremukhovskaya – Glubokaya mine in the Sverdlovsk region, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reported. There are no casualties as a result of the emergency.
It is noted that the mine operates as usual. However, seismic activity was recorded.
The incident took place at night. After that, the night shift was taken out of the mine, and the day shift was not allowed to start work.
The official representative of Rusal in the Urals Federal District Elena Voronova noted that due to the emergency a special commission was convened.
