A middle and high school in the Rhône region were targeted by two false bomb threats this Monday.
This Monday, October 9, the Claude Bernard high school in Villefranche-sur-Saône and the Louis Jouvet college in Villeurbanne were targeted by bomb threat messages received on Sunday.
“False bomb threats at two schools. Communicating false information with the aim of making people believe that destruction dangerous to people will be committed is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and €30,000.“, recalled the prefect of Rhône on X (ex-Twitter).
The students of the two schools were evacuated in the morning to allow the police to intervene to resolve doubts.
