The RTX 5090 will be equipped with a GPU GB202-300-A1 with 21,760 active CUDA cores, a 512-bit bus and 32 GB of GDDR7 memory, and its TDP will be 600 W. The characteristics of some models of the next generation of video cards from NVIDIA have been published by insider kopite7kimi on his personal page in X.
According to the rumor, the RTX 5080 will be almost half the size of the RTX 5090 in terms of hardware. The youngest model will have a processor with 10,752 active CUDA cores, 16 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 256-bit bus. The TDP of the RTX 5080 is 400 W.
Judging by the release schedules of previous generations, NVIDIA GeForce 5000 video cards should go on sale near the end of 2024. It is not known how much the models will cost.
