Dr. Iman Al-Damiati, a mental health consultant, commented on the incident of the young Bahaa Al-Din Ali, who was famous for Baha Al-Omdah Ibn Battuta Al-Saidi and his travel from Giza to Aswan with Al-Hammar, saying: “What the Al-Sa’idi citizen did is an unsound personal behavior and he had no sense of animal.”
“Al-Damiati” added, during a telephone conversation with journalist Ahmed Saad, on the “Maak in the Picture” program, broadcast on “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” channel, that this Saidi citizen has a weak sense of humans and animals that were not among his priorities at all or feeling it.
She pointed out that this citizen is a fame seducer, but at the expense of the animal, and he posted a video on social media, which is a kind of triviality and a kind of subconscious in others, which encourages many people to come to such trivialities.
And she continued: “What Ibn Battuta Al-Saidi did and his travels from Giza to Aswan with the donkey is a kind of exploitation of the animal and lack of compassion for it,” denying that what he did was a documentation of the customs and traditions of the people of Upper Egypt, but what he did is trivialities and lack of awareness and sense of animal.
