A mental health awareness campaign to promote wellbeing and community support

Silicon Central Mall, the shopping destination in Dubai, is proud to launch a comprehensive mental health awareness campaign, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The campaign aims to promote mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, and promote a supportive community environment.

Silicon Mall is the first center in the Emirates to launch this initiative. Advocating psychological well-being, it seeks to improve the confidence and productivity of individuals, while leaving a positive impact on society. Educating the public about mental health issues reduces stigma, encourages open communication, and fosters a supportive environment in which individuals feel comfortable seeking help.

Sherazul Khan, director of the centre, said: “Raising psychological awareness is vital to people’s well-being, which boosts their confidence and productivity. This initiative therefore provides the resources, support and education necessary to build healthier communities. We want to make a lasting impact with our corporate social responsibility initiatives.”

The Center has collaborated with renowned mental health advocates: Fakeeh University Hospital and Life Medical Center, and provides expert guidance and support for campaign activities, including:

Educational workshops and seminars, awareness campaigns, support and counseling sessions for those in need, fitness and wellness programs, promoting general wellness and fitness and health care activities.
