a meeting to understand everything

At the crossroads of Kimmerling Square, many projects are underway and all should arrive at the same time: in 2026.

To understand how all this will work out, the teams attached to each of these developments will be available to residents this Wednesday, March 8. From 5 to 8 p.m., they will answer participants’ questions at the Marx-Dormoy residence.

Bus, tram, accommodation

The T6 tramway will be extended in its northern part, from the hospitals on Boulevard Pinel to the Doua campus.

The BHLS (High Level Service Bus) will connect La Part-Dieu to Sept-Chemins in 25 minutes. It will travel in a reserved lane and it will have priority at traffic lights, a bit like a tram but without the rails.

As for the Pup (urban partnership project) of Les Genêts, it provides for the demolition of several buildings over more than 20,000 m². 310 housing units will gradually take place there until 2031.

This Wednesday, March 8, exhibition spaces will make it possible to understand these three projects. More specifically in T6, mini-conferences on the extension works will be held at 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Meet from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Marx-Dormoy residence: 183, route de Genas in Villeurbanne.
