For his part, Hassan Mughniyeh, head of the Association of depositors, said that “the House of Representatives has not taken any measures to protect depositors’ money and the state is accountable”, noting that “there is a vertical division at all. within the Association of Banks and the strike is not the solution ”.
The banks had returned to strike two days ago, after a series of repeated raids by depositors of branches in different areas, to demand their deposits in US dollars.
