“Prime Minister Denis Shmygal noted that over the past week, the number of intensive care beds occupied by COVID-19 patients has increased. If a third of the beds were filled the week before last, now it is almost half: 2212 out of 4694. Today, 1072 ventilators are used. the number since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, “- indicated in the message on the results of the conference call with the participation of the president.
According to Shmygal, this confirms the negative dynamics and complex course of the incidence.
“In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the situation stabilized with the introduction of the red level of epidemic danger, but so far the region remains among the leaders in the number of active patients – 17,994. Most of them are in Kiev – 44,600,” the prime minister said.
According to him, Vinnytsia (15133) and Chernivtsi (14220) regions are also among the leaders. In total, there are 213 thousand active patients in Ukraine as of now.
