A massive testing campaign will take place Tuesday March 30 and Wednesday March 31 at the Eugène-Delacroix high school in Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis), announced this Sunday afternoon the rector of the academy of Créteil Daniel Auverlot. “We are going to have massive detection”, so that “all students and staff who want to be tested can be tested,” he explained.
22 classes closed Monday
On Monday, 22 classes will be closed in the establishment due to cases of Covid-19. These closures will concern 500 students out of 2,400.
However, there is no question at this stage of closing the entire high school, as the staff demanded in a letter to Emmanuel Macron on Friday, while cases of Covid-19 are increasing in the establishment.
The teachers also recall that, in this high school, about twenty young people have lost their father or mother since the start of the epidemic, a year ago. They denounce a “alarming health situation”.
