Pulp teenager still hang on Horse Statue, Central Jakarta, after the student action reject all the law disband. The mass of youths got into a fuss and fought among them at the location.
Monitoring detikcom, Tuesday (20/10/2020) at around 17:20 WIB, on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, precisely at the barbed wire barrier in front of the Sapta Pesona Building, the crowd got noisy and fought. About two minutes of commotion, the youth crowd then ran towards the Monas cross in front of the horse statue.
The crowd could not enter Monas because there were officers on guard. They also drag traffic cone or traffic cones present at the site.
The crowd occasionally gave provocative cheers to police officers. Meanwhile, officers are still on guard at the location. No more orations this afternoon.
The police had urged the masses to leave the location. And go home in an orderly manner.
“The mass of students demonstrating is over, demands have been submitted. Please return to their homes immediately,” the police appealed over a loudspeaker.
Until now there are still a number of masses that survive in the area of the Horse Statue. Some of them sit on the side of the road, stand, or just talk. Police also continue to take care.
