The “Les Journées Gourmandes” association of Belleville-sur-Loire has organized a gastronomic fair every year since 1996.
This year it is renewed with two gastronomic markets a year. The first takes place in spring, before Easter, the second this Sunday 20 November, a period in which, as the end-of-year celebrations approach, the taste buds awaken with more elaborate gastronomy.
At the town hall of Belleville-sur-Loire, gourmets and gourmands will be able to discover and taste the products of the exhibitors, such as coffee, tea, nut products, honey, chocolates, snails, craft beer, cheeses, wines, black pudding , fish products , poultry, jams and many other food products. Admission will be free.
The “pâté aux trouches”, a must
A tasty break will be around the indispensable and traditional “pâté aux triches”, but also during lunch, entirely created by the association’s volunteers. On the menu: a seafood terrine, a pumpkin soup with chestnuts, bacon, a charlotte with caramelized pears and a pear in wine on crunchy pastry, will delight visitors. A surprise animation will accompany the meal.
Practice. Gastronomic market, Sunday 20 November, from 9am to 6pm, at the town hall of Belleville-sur-Loire. Information: 06.99.15.30.35.
