“Government inaction will not help us.”
A new international climate strike takes place this Friday. It is in this context that an event will take place in Lyon at the initiative of Youth For Climate, Lyon Climat and Alternatiba ANV Rhône.
The meeting is given at 2 p.m. Place Maréchal Lyautey in the 6th arrondissement.
The procession will then take the direction of Sergent Blandan Park. “Is the sea level rising? U.S. too ! Let’s go out and take to the streets to show them we want a big change in things“, assure the organizers on the Facebook page of the event which has several thousand interested people.
Thirty French cities and more than 45 countries have planned to mobilize on the occasion of this new global climate strike initiated by the association “Fridays For Future” whose founder is none other than the young environmental activist Greta Thunberg.
