What sounds does a city make? It is to find out that the municipality of Rezé is launching the SonoRezé operation. Residents are encouraged to download a noise measurement application on their smartphone, the free Android app “NoiseCapture”. Thanks to her, they will be able to record the sounds of their daily life : traffic, work, children’s cries, music, but also the sound of birds, etc. Whether they are light or strong, pleasant or annoying. The idea is to obtain a mapping of the sound environment in the town of Rezé.
The operation should last until summer 2022. Among the Rezéens willing to participate, some will be able to submit their proposals to the City of Rezé.
