According to a police source the facts took place in the Chutes-Lavie district in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille last night around 11 p.m. The victim was wounded by Kalashnikov fire and had already been the subject of a homicide attempt earlier this year.

Yesterday evening shortly after 11 p.m. in the Chutes-Lavie district located in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille, a young man aged 22 was the target of an individual armed with a Kalashnikov. The victim was walking when she came under fire, the assailant emptied the magazine of his assault rifle.
According to a police source, the victim was only hit in the leg, transported to hospital, his vital prognosis is not engaged.
Earlier this year the young man, known to the police, had already been the subject of an attempted murder.
The car, used by the attacker, was found charred on Chemin de la Pounche in the 13th arrondissement of Marseille near the town of Allauch
The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police which favors the track of an attempt to settle accounts.
