As human rights activists note, Anatoly Kokhanchik painted his parents’ house in the village a year ago. In turn, the security officials regarded this as an unauthorized picket.

Later, the man said that the investigator threatened to open a criminal case against him for malicious hooliganism if he did not repaint the house.
