A 35-year-old man was found shot dead near Godech minutes after midnight on New Year’s Day. He was taken to the Pirogov hospital. According to initial data, the incident occurred on the territory of a military unit. A legally owned gun was used, BTA reports.
The Defense Ministry specified that the incident occurred in a house in the village of Shuma, in the Godech region.
The injured 35-year-old was a guest at a New Year’s party in a private house in the village. He was injured around 0.30 am when shots were fired in the courtyard of the house
with a legally owned private firearm. The victim was taken to the “Pirogov” hospital. The case is being investigated by the Military Police, according to the military department.
