There is a detainee for the crime
A 43-year-old man was beaten and set on fire in a private property in Vidin, the Ministry of Interior announced.
A report of beatings was filed on February 10 at 6:56 p.m. Police arrived on the scene and found a 43-year-old man lying on the floor with burns on his body. He was found to have been doused in petrol and set on fire with a cigarette.
The man was transported to the Vidin hospital with burns on his face and body, life-threatening.
A 23-year-old man from Vidin was detained for the crime. The work on the case continues, pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in the University of Vidin.
