For several days, Paris has been all white. Well wedged in his boots, armed with his skis and his sticks, a man presented himself at the snow-capped summit of Montmartre. The so-called Nathan was planning to take advantage of the few inches of snow to make his first ski descent for a long time. A team from the Reuters agency immortalized the descent and the few falls.
This initiative, presented as a reaction to the closure of the ski slopes, might not have been viewed as many times if Nathan had descended the slope of Montmartre without difficulty. “Since the government has closed the stations, we are doing what we can. And here, they also closed our parks, so we are reduced to that, unfortunately”, explained the Parisian skier.
The idea of Nathan even made laugh the organizers of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 who reacted on Twitter: “Fortunately, we are organizing the Summer Games and not the Winter Games. ”
