A man tried to attack a cinema in western Germany

Three clergymen attended to the filmgoers afterwards. Mayor Frank Meyer also arrived at the scene to learn about the situation. Meyer previously attended an event at the movie theater, where a public information session was held about the theater’s renovation.

Fires were also reported in several places in Krefeld, including the main train station, where the cinema is located. According to unconfirmed reports, it may have been an attack with Molotov cocktails. It is not yet clear whether the incidents are connected, the Rheinische Post newspaper reported.
