A man with the initials HS (30), a resident of Gempol Sampurno Village, Porong District, Sidoarjo, trance. His voice is frequent roar like a tiger. The man was in a trance since walking from Gempol Village to Porong Arterial Road.
Police and sub-district officials tried to calm and tame the man who was carrying bamboo and his index finger kept pointing at passersby.
“After receiving a report from the public, the officer immediately went to the location. He also brought bamboo, so that it could endanger local residents,” said Head of Porong Police, Kompol Rochsululloh when contacted, Thursday (13/5/2021).
Because he continued to roar, he added, officers tried to secure the man. “Luckily the traffic conditions are quiet because there is salat id. So that it does not interfere with the arterial lane traffic flow, “he added.
The four officers who were at the scene patiently tried to secure the man. One of the officers recited verses from the Koran to tame the man. The man’s body was secured even though he had struggled and continued roar.
“Alhamdulillah, he did not move when he was secured and recited a prayer. Although he had rebelled and continued to roar,” he explained.
After successfully secured and resuscitated, the man was finally taken by officers and returned to his home. The residents also saw the action of the officers to bring the man who was possessed by nature.
“After he realized, we took him to his house. Because he could mention his identity and house,” he said.
