– Rescue operations are underway in Storfjord in the mountain east of Kitdalen. A person has fallen and injured himself in the mountains, said operations manager Lennart Steffensen in the Troms police district in the police log at 18:00 on Thursday evening.
AMK was contacted by the injured person’s walking companion. The police were then contacted.
– A rescue helicopter and volunteer crews from the Norwegian People’s Aid were called out. The injured person has now been found by the rescue helicopter, and emergency personnel are on the scene, Steffensen says.
