A man intoxicated by a house fire in Chartres

A Chartres Fire Brigade ambulance evacuated a man intoxicated by fumes from a fire in Chartres hospitals, this Thursday 24 November, at around 7.20pm.

Shortly before a resident contacted the fire brigade call center to report the presence of smoke on Boulevard Foch, in Chartres.

The national police and the municipal police have decided to divert traffic, in both directions, especially from Place Morard.

The house seemed unoccupied for a long time. But a man was found at the scene by rescuers. The victim was bothered by the fumes and his conditions don’t seem to be worrying.

Police officers from the Chartres police station have launched an investigation to determine the origin of the accident. On the fire department side, we headed out for a roof clearing operation, then roamed all night to avoid a resurgence of fire.
