A man in his 40s was transported by air ambulance

A man in his 40s from Drammen has been transported by air ambulance to hospital following a motorcycle accident in Sylling in Lier municipality. This is reported by the South East police on Twitter.

The man was followed by a total of three motorcycles. Operations manager Iselin Bekken tells TV 2 that one driver was hit on the motorcycle in a turn.

– He got a bang on the motorcycle when there was an oncoming car that got a little too far into the bend. The driver drove into the auto guard, she says.

She has no knowledge of the extent of the damage to the driver. TV 2 was previously informed that the driver was in and out of consciousness before being transported by air ambulance.

The police have also not been in contact with the oncoming car.

There is on-site routing, as police are waiting for motorists to come to pick up the motorcycle.
