On Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, an accident occurred in Carrigtwohill, County Cork inside an industrial unit. The incident was reported shortly after 1:15 pm, and Emergency Services along with the Gardaí were alerted. The man involved, who was in his early 40s, was taken from the scene by ambulance to Cork University Hospital. His injuries were considered serious, and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) was notified, while the scene was preserved to undergo examination. No information has been released thus far regarding the cause of the accident.
