A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Eddie Hutch Senior in Dublin in 2016. Hutch, a taxi driver and innocent bystander, was the brother of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch and was gunned down outside his home in February of that year. A post mortem determined that Hutch died from gunshot wounds to the head. The investigation into the shooting has been ongoing since the incident. The arrested man is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in north Dublin.
