A person was moderately injured with a stabbing weapon during an argument between two men on Monday morning at the main station in Winterthur. A man was arrested.
The dispute broke out shortly before 4 a.m. at the city gate at Winterthur main station, as the Zurich cantonal police announced on Monday. A 33-year-old man was moderately injured by a stabbing weapon. He had to be taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
According to the information, the alleged perpetrator, a 21-year-old, was held back by a security service and arrested by the police.
The further investigations are being conducted by the Zurich cantonal police in cooperation with the public prosecutor’s office in Winterthur/Unterland, as it was also said. The police issued an appeal for witnesses.
