A resident of Stolich came across an eerie find during his visit to his native house in the Vratsa village of Kameno Pole yesterday. In the regional office of Mezdra, he filed a report from a resident of Sofia that he found a 57-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman dead in his house in the village.
The man from Sofia told the police that the corpses were of homeless people, whom he had taken pity on a year ago and sheltered them in the house, with the stipulation that they would take care of it and support it.
No apparent cause of death and no signs of violence were found during the examination.
During the autopsy, the pathologists found that the bodies found had died of old chronic diseases a few days apart, at least two weeks ago.
In the case, however, pre-trial proceedings were initiated to finally clarify the causes of death of the residents of the house in Kameno Pole.
