A lifeless person was reported to her on Sunday morning, the Zurich city police said. Despite the immediately initiated resuscitation measures by the rescue workers from the Zurich City Police and Protection & Rescue Zurich, only the death of the man could be determined.
According to previous knowledge, the man fell from a construction crane on Schneeglöggliweg in Altstetten, the police said. The circumstances and background are therefore unclear and are being clarified by the Public Prosecutor’s Office I for Serious Violent Crime, the Institute for Forensic Medicine and the Zurich Cantonal Police.
Specialists from the Zurich Forensic Institute and the Zurich City Police were called in to secure evidence. The Zurich cantonal police are looking for witnesses to the incident at the construction site.
