A 30-year-old man exposed his organs in front of the Russian embassy in Helsinki’s Ullanlinna.
First, the man flashed his sexual advances on the embassy’s surveillance camera.
Finally, he urinated on the embassy grounds.
A urine vandal attacked Tehtaankatu on Sunday afternoon, May 12, a little after five o’clock.
The act caused aggravation, and the man did not go unpunished. He was deemed guilty of a public violation of sexual decency.
A bill of 100 euros
The man received a fine for his act. Ten daily fines make a low-income man’s earnings a total of 60 euros.
In addition, he must pay a crime victim fee of 40 euros.
The bill for the presentation of the organ and public urination was therefore a total of 100 euros.
The fine imposed by the prosecutor does not reveal what the man’s motive was. The document also does not say who was offended by the act.
Russian embassies have been targeted with some vandalism since the country started a full-scale war of aggression in Ukraine in February 2022 – both in Finland and abroad.
