A man drove into a police car parked near the town of 2 Mai with his electric scooter. As a result of the impact he was injured, so he was transported to the nearest medical center, for first aid, but also to take biological samples to determine the level of alcohol or the presence of other substances in the blood.
It was reported to the police, on Wednesday, that a road accident occurred on DN 39, outside the town of 2 Mai, writes News.ro.
The police officers who were sent to the scene discovered that the impact took place between an electric scooter and a special police vehicle, which was parked on the side of the road.
As a result of the road accident, the driver of the scooter was injured, and he was taken to a medical unit for special care.
At the same time, since he could not be tested with the breathalyzer and the one provided, biological samples were taken from him to determine the level of blood alcohol or the presence of other substances, ” representatives of IPJ Constanța submitted.
They said that the driver of the police car was tested with the breathalyzer and the one given, as the results were negative in both cases.
The Police are continuing their investigation to find out exactly the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
