About a decade ago, German Hansjorg-Eberhard Freiherr von Hemmingen-Hornberg bought a new Tesla Model S P85, for which the automaker issued an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty. For these years, the man has traveled a record 1.7 million kilometers.
During the operation of the car, the electric motor was replaced 12 times, and it failed again and again. Despite the fact that all repairs were carried out free of charge, the German believes that the company knows about the problems of the model, but deliberately does not fix the situation.
The Tesla owner says he intends to drive the electric car until its odometer reads two million kilometers.
However, the German adds that he does not want his next car to be a Tesla again. According to him, Porsche Taycan, Mercedes EQS and even Chinese battery models look more interesting and most importantly – more reliable than Elon Musk’s cars.

Another reason for choosing another electric car brand is the attitude of Tesla’s management. According to the German, the company ignores the problems with electric motors that occur with a long mileage.
