A man was beaten to death in the Pleven village of Bivolare, Darik said.
A group of men attacked a villager on Sunday after an argument in a club.
As a result of the beating inflicted with an ax, he died.
The relatives of the victim protested in the center of Bivolare. They insisted on evicting the other family.
There is an increased police presence in the village.
