A man barricaded himself and committed suicide in his house in the Sofia village of Petarch, bTV reports.
According to initial information, the man beat his ex-wife, who lived in Kostinrod, then went to his home and barricaded himself.
Psychologists and units of the specialized anti-terrorist unit went to the scene. When the police entered the house, it was established that the man had committed suicide.
He bought the house in the village months ago. The tour of the place continued after midnight on Monday.
Information from the Ministry of Interior is expected.
