A young couple from the Russian city of St. Petersburg had to be taken to hospital after falling from a height of about 8 meters from the second floor of the apartment in which they live.
A video shared on social networks shows the two fighting on the terrace, while at one point the railings on the balcony give in and the couple falls on the sidewalk.
Olga Volkova and Evgeny Karlagin, both 35 years old, were immediately hospitalized, where they underwent emergency surgery due to the serious injuries they received as a result of the fall. Fortunately, their lives are safe.
According to witnesses, the incident took place on Saturday around 10 am.
I was walking down the street with a friend of mine and I saw a fight between the two of them and I decided to shoot it and exactly seconds later they fell, Denis, the boy who shot the video, told the Russian edition of Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Meanwhile, because of this case, the local prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation to determine how safe the block in question is to live in, as the video shows that the railing breaks off extremely easily.
