A man, 37, who was shot in the head, has died. The prosecutor’s office is investigating the circumstances of the drama

On Friday, November 1, around 3pm, the services received a report of a man shot in the head with a gun. According to the preliminary results of the services, at the time of the incident he was with two other men in the town of Gołąb.

A 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance. His companions were interrogated.

The one who was killed is dead

Despite the efforts of the doctors, the man who was killed died. – Today the situation has changed a lot. The injured person is dead. According to our findings, it was probably an accident. The two arrested men were released after questioning. The bullet was not fired from a shotgun or from a hunting weapon. The police, under the direction of the prosecutor, are making further decisions in this case – says Superintendent Ewa Czyż, press officer at the City Police Headquarters in Chełm, in an interview with “Dziennik Wschodni”.

The prosecutor’s office explains the circumstances of the drama. The weapon from which the shot was fired has been secured for examination.
