The head of the Private Hospital Owners’ Union, Suleiman Haroun, confirmed that “there is a big problem, as hospitals cannot receive their money from the Ministry of Finance from the Ministry of Health account unless a decree has been issued by the Council of Ministers in this regard, while they have been providing medical services for a year without collecting the due”. .
And he warned, in an interview with “Voice of All Lebanon”, that “hospitals can no longer bear this reality any more than next week”, revealing that “we are facing a serious health dilemma that will deprive patients of hospitalization, including dialysis patients.”
Haroun appealed to “everyone to leave political differences aside and find a solution to this problem”, noting that “Interim Prime Minister Najib Mikati promised he would convene a cabinet session, and if the session does not take place , will try to find the way to issue the necessary decree”.
