On Sunday afternoon, a large fire broke out in a caravan camp in Brestlaan in Eindhoven. A house is completely burned down. Two other houses were badly damaged. Firefighters reported at a quarter to eight that the last remnants of fire had been extinguished at that time.
The fire broke out in a parked car around 2am. The fire then spread to the houses. The photos show that three cars were also burned.
One of the houses burned down completely. The houses to the left and right of that chalet were kept wet by firefighters. It is clear that those houses have also suffered a lot of damage. A hospitalization is foreseen for the residents of the affected houses.
No people were injured. Two people inhaled smoke. Paramedics checked those people.
The fire was accompanied by considerable smoke development. Clouds of black smoke were clearly visible in the area. Several explosions were heard, presumably from exploded gas cylinders.
