This Saturday at 7 p.m., the Girondins de Bordeaux will be opposed to the Chamois Niortais on behalf of the third day of Ligue 2 BKT. In search of continuing their efforts after this very good result obtained against Rodez (3-0 victory), the Girondins could indeed benefit from a size advantage. Opposite, the Chamois seem in great difficulty.

Driven by a flamboyant youth, the Girondins de Bordeaux were finally able to celebrate their first victory of the season in Ligue 2 last weekend. On the final score of 3-0, Guion’s men managed to win after a disappointing first day ended with a sad draw conceded against Valenciennes. A short distance from this third day, it would seem that victory is already promised to the Girondins.
A flimsy tactic?
Last weekend, the Chamois Niortais experienced a singular event to say the least. Indeed, the coach of this training in place since 2020, Sébastien Desabre, has decided to accept the offer to become the coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo just a few hours before the kick-off of the match against Bastia. In the running for several weeks to leave the Chamois, Desabre was not at the heart of the best possible timing for his now former team. The result was final, Bastia won this match with the score of 4-1 while Niort was particularly non-existent in this meeting.
Facing Bordeaux, it is still without a coach that this formation from the west is preparing to move forward. the Girondins, authors of a net rise in power, hope to successfully replicate what worked against Rodez, while taking advantage of the fragility of the opponent. If several names are already circulating to take over from Desabre, there is no doubt that by Saturday, preparation time is minimal.
