Hundreds of thousands of Moroccans descended to welcome and greet the national football team, which returned to the country on Tuesday after a historic participation in the World Cup in Qatar, finishing fourth.
The Morocco national team was greeted by thousands in and around the airport before the players and coaching staff boarded an open-top bus bearing the Moroccan flag and “Dima Morocco” lettering.
The footballers exchanged greetings with Moroccan fans, who wore T-shirts with the names of their favorite stars as they raised the national flag.
Players of the Moroccan national team documented solemn moments of popular celebration, including Hakim Ziyech and Naseer Mazraoui, after their arrival by private plane.
The coach of the Moroccan national team passed through the most important arenas in the cities of Sale and Rabat, before heading to the royal palace in the center of the capital to attend the royal reception ceremony.
