A magical path to bring the Christmas spirit to Mouscron town center

A nativity scene, two illuminated trees and eight Christmas chalets have come to decorate the Grand-Place and its surroundings.

While the now traditional “Mouscron sur Glace” had to be canceled during this gloomy period, the municipal authorities were keen to offer their citizens a little entertainment as the Christmas holidays approach.

So there is room for joy and wonder, thanks to this initiative that has been able to count on the enthusiasm and collaboration of community services and various associations.

To the delight of young and old, the automatons and the twenty or so monumental animals that adorn the chalets will delight the eyes of passers-by from December 11 to January 3.

Laurent Harduin, alderman of the festivities, returned to our microphone on the magical dimension that these installations will represent for a month.

A full report will be presented to you on the TV news this Saturday at 1 p.m.
