The city, the night and the search for an ideal love never reached build this dazzling novel straddling poetry and reverie. The protagonist, a young man who cannot find his place, wanders between the darkness and the vigil of a city that sleeps and takes his steps from Madrid to Paris on a journey that wastes both ingenuity and light.
“Goodnight” It is a book from Madrid, poetic and ironic. In him the figure of the flâneur is recovered, transferred to contemporary Madrid. The protagonist, a self-absorbed and passive young man, walks the city in constant memory of a love halfway between reality and fiction. A series of circumstances compel him to get out of this passivity and face the character he himself has built.
We talk to the author Santi Isla, who apart from literature, has been in music for many years. In 2014 she formed the band Chelsea Boots, who were winners of the Mad Cool Talent 2017.
