A few days ago, Apple presented several very interesting new gadgets. Indeed, there were several announcements during the WorldWide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022. Even though the keynote of this famous event is over, rumors about Apple products that are in the pipeline continue go well. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros powered by the M2 chips will arrive either late this year or early next year.
Like any good self-respecting company, Apple always plans to expand its market. In other words, the company wants to conquer a wider audience. That’s why she’s working on a bigger MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen and other products. There’s even a note about the upcoming arrival of the first version of this 15-inch MacBook Air. But several other small clues also lead to the conclusion that there are plenty of M2-equipped devices coming to market.
What products are affected by the rumours?
Gurman’s sources say the 16- and 14-inch MacBook Pros with the M2 Max will have 10-12 CPU cores and 32-38 GPU cores. Not to mention that new versions of the Mac Pro and Mac Mini would be equipped with the new generation of M3 chips in the testing phase.
Ross Young, through his Twitter account, also confirmed the development of the iPad Pro 14.1”. He further mentioned that the device will have a MiniLED backlight and a ProMotion display. But Gurman in his post further talked about new versions of the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Products announced by Apple at WWDC 2022
Apple officially announced on June 6 its intention to be ready to go beyond the M1 chips. As a reminder, there were the normal M1 chips, the M1 pro, the M1 Max and the M1 Ultra. The more powerful M2 chip was introduced at WWDC 2022.
Apart from this new chip promising a bit more performance, Apple has also said that there are a series of updated laptops including the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the new MacBook Air. The latter is much more colorful.
