The association writes that the people of the Alps are very affected by the latest rips caused by the lynx. The abalpation of the currently around 400 sheep from the Sigriswil ridge has been checked. Unfortunately, the animals cannot be taken down to the valley at the moment because there is no food due to the drought. “We therefore demand that the canton of Bern provide the necessary feed immediately in such cases and bear the costs,” she continues.
