After more than 30 years of career as a lawyer, Francine Keizer left the firm where she was a partner to enter the world of fashion as a stylist. This month of February, barely two years later, the Luxembourger presented one of her collections at New York Fashion Week. “The bar gave me little free time. I promised myself that after 30 years, I would change career to devote myself to one of my hobbies, she says. As I no longer wore them, I started by wanting to transform my old clothes as a lawyer. This led me to study fashion in Paris”, smiles the stylist. She won first place in the Parisian competition Top Skills 2021. This will be the trigger for her career.

In 2023, she was selected to participate in New York Fashion Week, thanks to the Flying Solo collective, which she describes as a surprise. “The fashion world is huge, there are so many designers, brands… Everything happened very quickly and when I was selected, it was a great joy”, she says.

I always take care to choose quality fabrics so that the clothes are comfortable,” she explains. The designer is also committed to producing sustainable clothing, made in Europe and respecting the environment.

Francine Keiser’s creations can be found in her boutique at 2, rue du Nord, in Luxembourg. The designer does not intend to stop there. “I want to try Paris Fashion Week!”.
