On March 1, during a long-haul flight from Austin to Frankfurt, a Lufthansa Airbus A330 experienced severe turbulence in the United States. The tremors destroyed everything, even causing food to splash on the ceiling. Actor Matthew McConaughey’s wife was on board. Of the 179 people, 7 were hospitalized. The plane had to make an emergency landing at Dulles Airport in Virginia.
