“At a wedding, something always happens that you didn’t foresee.” Prophetic words from Dieter, last week in ‘Home’. The marriage of Bob (Christophe Haddad) and Tamara (Tine Priem) ended on Monday evening with some unexpected turns. Another marriage was announced and early love blossomed. But there were also tears, because it seems to be finally over between Viv and Lowie.

Things had been a bit more difficult between the two for a while. Lowie (Mathias Vergels) made no secret of his desire to have children, Viv (Lynn Van den Broeck) did not feel ready for that. And that turned out to be a bigger obstacle than the couple wanted to admit. At the dance, Viv took the only way out she saw: ending the relationship. As she left the party crying, Lowie went heartbroken to his equally sad uncle Frank – he and his Simoneke broke up a few weeks ago – to drown his sorrows.

Adil (Nawfel Bardad-Daidj) and Christine (Daphne Paelinck) had a nicer evening. She didn’t mind proposing to her boyfriend at her friends’ wedding. Adil luckily said ‘yes’, so that the couple started to walk with attention for a while.

Ilias (Bram Spooren) and Silke (Ivana Noa Batchvarov) were also king. After they kissed in Bar Madam last week, Ilias fell completely for Silke at the wedding. A solid air guitar solo to the tones of Bon Jovi did wonders and got Ilias on the dance floor. A new couple in the world of Home is a fact.
